PANAJI: Dr. Caitano Fernandes, president of the Goa Football Association (GFA), is representing the organisation at the World Football Summit (WFS), which kicked off in Sevilla, Spain.
The eighth edition marks the conclusion of its three-year residency in the city and is expected to generate an economic impact exceeding 20 million euros.
More than 2,500 football industry experts have gathered at the Sevilla Conference and Exhibition Center, Fibes, to discuss vital topics including the role of AI in sports and performance, the advancement of women’s football, and sustainability initiatives.
