The Goa Football Association has revised rules for the private inter-village football tournament which have come into effect as of January 2025.

In accordance with these changes, all participating clubs must ensure that their players obtain new inter-village cards. To do so, players are required to submit an application form along with their old inter-village cards and the following mandatory documents:

Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths/Civil Registration. Alternatively, a Passport Copy or Driving License Copy will also be accepted.

A copy of the Ration Card (with the original for verification, which will be returned) or a Residence Certificate issued by the Mamlatdar.

An Election Identity Card issued by the Election Commission of India is mandatory. For players under 18, the Election Card of a parent, grandparent, or sibling must be provided. Players who turn 18 will need to submit their own Election Card within 6 months of their 18th birthday.

A recent passport-sized colored photograph.

Once the documents are verified, it will take at least five working days to issue a new Player’s License based on the address mentioned in the Election Card.

The processing fee for the new or renewed Player’s License is Rs. 100 (Rupees One Hundred Only).

The process of issuing new inter-village cards will begin immediately, and the final date for submission is 31.05.2025.
