The Goa Netball Association (GNA) has announced the squads that will represent Goa in the 30th Sub-Junior National Netball Championship, scheduled to take place from December 28th to 31 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The teams of boys and girls were given a farewell in a ceremony held at Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal.
The girls' team includes Dipalee Velip, Siddhi Velip, Darshana Velip, Tanisha Naik, Aanora Gracias, Niel Valadres, Jenisha Gomes, Raiza Oliveira, Priyanka Fernandes, Vaibhavi Gawas, Harshita Uppar, Sara Madkaikar, Sameer Raikar (coach), and Samaira Velip (manager). The boys' team features Adhvay Salelkar, Diljeet Gaonkar, Gangesh Velip, Jay Velip, Neel Mandol, Yuraj Mirashi, Krunal Gaude, Sumit Kumar, Melfan Rocha, Shaheer Hiekeri, Anuj Ben, Ashwin Naik, Sameer Raikar (coach), and Satyawan Velip (manager).
The farewell event was attended by Shubham Narvekar, President of GNA, Pratish Naik, Secretary of GNA, along with Sameer Bhat and Kirtan Vaiz, Executive Members of GNA. The event also saw the presence of Sister Mary Flavia D'Souza, Headmistress of Bethany Convent High School, Sister Ida Lobo BS, the school manager, and the team’s coaches and managers, Sameer Raikar, Satyawan Velip, and Samaira Velip.
