The Modern Pentathlon Association of Goa recently honored the state's athletes and coaches who secured seven medals at the 38th National Games 2025 in Uttarakhand. A celebratory interaction and get-together was held at SRK Farm, Khandepar, Ponda.
The event featured discussions between athletes, coaches, and officials from the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG), the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA), and the Goa Olympic Association. Athletes shared insights into their National Games preparation and emphasized the need for early government planning for the 2027 Meghalaya National Games.
Key attendees included Dr. Vivek Pawar (Deputy Director of Sports and Assistant Director, SAG), Rajtilak Naik (President, Goa Union of Journalists), Chetan Kavlekar (Joint Secretary, Goa Olympic Association), and Sandeep Khandeparkar, along with Shubham Narvekar and other invited guests.
Following the interaction, the athletes and coaches were formally felicitated. Sandhya Paliekar welcomed the dignitaries, and Kirtan Vaiz delivered the vote of thanks.
