MARGAO: Guirdolim Club delivered a commanding 4-0 victory over Parish Youth Nuvem in the 27th All-Goa Inter-Village Football Tournament, organized by the Holy Cross Sports Club, Vodlemoll Kakoda, on Monday.
Right from the opening whistle, Guirdolim took charge of the game, dominating possession in the first half. They broke the deadlock early, with Kenzen scoring in the 3rd minute. Guirdolim quickly doubled their lead through a clinical finish by Brivon. By halftime, they were firmly in control, leading 2-0.
The second half saw a brief lull in tempo, but Guirdolim soon regained their rhythm and added a third goal in the 43rd minute, courtesy of Melwin. Despite several attempts by Parish Youth Nuvem to reduce the deficit, Guirdolim's defense remained impenetrable.
In the final moments of the match, Kenzen put the result beyond doubt, lobbing the ball over the Nuvem goalkeeper to complete a comprehensive 4-0 win as the final whistle blew.
