MARGAO
The Kaykee Youth Club in Dongorim Majorda concluded its 18th Annual Summer Football Coaching Camp with a closing ceremony and exhibition match. The camp, held at St. Anthony's High School grounds in Majorda, ran for 35 days and saw 25 boys and girls U-15 years old participate. Coaches Joaquim Crasto, Avertan Barretto, and Anjulo Fernandes led the camp, focusing on developing the young athletes' basic football skills and techniques.
The camp culminated in an exhibition match between Kaykee Youth Club and Rising Star Boys. The closing ceremony featured Ruban Da Costa, Principal of VRDA Goankar College, Raia, as the Chief Guest. Joaquim Crasto, FC Goa Scout was the Guest of Honour, while Amascio Fernandes, Deputy Director of the Agriculture Department, was a special invitee.
Certificates and new football kits were distributed to the trainees by the guests. Beveen Andrade was recognised as the outstanding trainee while Valosha Miranda received the most promising trainee award. All participants received special prizes for their efforts.
