MLT cricket Club overcame the challenge of Mapusa Dream Crushers by 20 runs on the 11th day of the 7th edition of Rajdeep Builders Sarsangan Super Series Cricket 2024-25 at Arlem Ground while in the second match, Desserts n More Avengers won a thrilling contest against Vimson Panjim Powerplay by 3 wickets and 2 balls to spare.
In the first match, MLT Cricket Club set a target of 166, scoring 165/7 in 20 overs. Team owner Siddhesh Sinai Amonkar ended his lean run with 35 (29 balls, 4x4s, 1x6), while Atchut Naik Dalal (34), Nityay Kuncolienkar (38), and Manish Kakode (38) made vital contributions. Paarth Kossambe was the standout bowler for Mapusa Dream Crushers, taking 3/18, supported by Keshav Bhat (2/14) and Durgesh Prabhugaonkar (2/29).
In response, Mapusa Dream Crushers started well with Sarvesh Kamat (33) and Sanjay Netravalkar (27), but a brilliant spell by Siddhesh Bodke (4/22) put the brakes on their chase. In reply, Desserts n More Avengers chased down the target with 4 balls to spare, reaching 164/7 in 19.2 overs. Aditya Dalal led the charge with a blistering 38 (12 balls, 6x4s, 2x6s), while Vaibhav Kadkade made 35 (24 balls, 6x4s).
