MARGAO
Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School, Cortalim emerged as the State Champions in the Under-17 Boys DSYA Football Tournament, defeating Fr. Agnel High School, Pilar with a thrilling 2-1 victory in the final held at the DSYA Ground, Cuncolim.
The tournament was organized by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs.
The team displayed great determination and skill to clinch the prestigious title, showcasing their dominance throughout the tournament.
The team comprised of Aston Pereira, Sanjit Kullu, Edwin Souza, Ashwel Mendes, Velino Rodrigues, Declan Monterio, Sandrio Silva, Jason Vaz, Freden Mendes, Jayden Serrao and Charles Lucas, Vishal Lamani, Rohit Singh, Vedant Naik and Gajanan Veer.
Also seen along with the team are Physical Education Teacher Marlon Pereira, Headmaster Joao Erwin Colaco, Manager Rev. Prof. Dr. Simao Diniz and Physical Education Teacher Leroy Menezes.
