Evelyn Dias from Our Lady of Succour High School and Zylen Castanha from Our Lady of Carmel High School shared the Player of the Match title.
In another match, the U8 5-a-Side Futsal Group A, Round 1 Match saw Our Lady of Carmel High School triumph again over Our Lady of Succour High School, with Dravy Jalmi named Player of the Match.
The Next Gen League is an Inter-School Football and Futsal league organised by The King's Sports Academy, with venue partner, The King's School, Sao Jose de Areal and is conducted in 8 age categories, namely U6, U8, U10 Futsal & U12 Football in the mixed boys and girls category, followed by U14 and U16 Football categories for boys and for girls.
The Next Gen League is the largest Inter-School Football League in Goa and is currently in its 2nd edition with 29 schools from South Goa participating this season. As the league is designed for development purposes, match scores are not mentioned. The winning teams receive 3 points while the losing team receives 1 point, a draw gives both teams 2 points.
