MARGAO: In a dominating performance, Perpetual Succour Convent High School Navelim defeated Our Lady of Carmel High School Curtorim 6-0 in a match held in memory of Gavino D. Silva, organized by the Navelim Villagers Union at Rosary ground.
Navelim opened the scoring early with Anosh Vaz finding the net in the second minute. Liroy Gomes added a second goal just six minutes later in the eighth minute. Royden Carvalho then showcased his talent with a brace, scoring in the 14th and 28th minutes. Clydell Fernandes joined the scoring spree in the 30th minute, followed by Anosh Vaz, who capped off the match with his second goal in the 45th minute.
Anosh Vaz was awarded the Man of the Match by Clency Fernandes, the assistant coach of the Navelim Villagers Union.
