Salgaocar FC dominated Sesa Football Academy with a 3-0 win in the GFA's Under-15 Division League at the Singuetim Sports Complex in Navelim on Friday.
The Green Brigade took an early lead with Reuben Barbosa scoring in the 13th minute. Just a minute later, Ashwin Miranda added to the lead with a powerful shot. Sesa Football Academy struggled to play as a cohesive unit and failed to challenge the Salgaocar goalkeeper throughout the first half.
With a 2-0 advantage, Salgaocar FC maintained their momentum. Royden Carvalho sealed the game with a strong shot that found the back of the net, extending the lead to 3-0.
In the second half, Salgaocar FC continued to press but couldn’t add to their tally. Meanwhile, Sesa Football Academy couldn’t contain the relentless Salgaocar strikers and failed to threaten the opposition goal.
In another match, Churchill Brothers FC narrowly defeated Pax of Nagoa Sports Club 1-0 at the Nagoa Panchayat Sports Complex. The only goal of the match was scored by Joe Rozvy Andrade in the 6th minute.
