Sesa Football Academy is determined to maintain their winning momentum as they face Karbi Anglong Morning Star FC from Assam in the I-League 3 playoff at Naihati Stadium, Kolkata, on Saturday.

After securing a 3-1 victory against DownTown Heroes FC in their previous match, Sesa Football Academy enters this game with confidence, while Karbi Anglong Morning Star is still seeking their first win of the tournament.

Head Coach Charles Dias expressed optimism about his team's performance, emphasizing the need to sustain their good form against a formidable opponent. “We are doing well after our win and have 3 points. I’m pleased with how the players are performing,” Dias told The Goan Everyday over the phone from Kolkata.

He noted that preparations have gone smoothly: “We trained just the way we wanted to get ready for the clash against Karbi Anglong. The morale is high, especially after our victory over DownTown Heroes FC. We know we have another challenging match ahead of us on short notice. Our training sessions have been productive, and we've discussed the errors made in our last match.”

Dias acknowledged the need for improvement, particularly in defense: “We need to enhance certain aspects, as we conceded a goal due to individual mistakes. However, overall, we’re creating numerous chances and playing well. It’s crucial that we keep this momentum going.”
