Sesa FA and Sporting Clube de Goa played to a goalless draw in the Goa Professional League at Sirsaim Ground on Friday, following the abandonment of their previous encounter on October 31, 2024, due to severe weather conditions.

The match resumed from the 25th minute, with both teams eager to break the deadlock. Sporting Clube started strong, creating several opportunities in the first 20 minutes. However, Sesa FA’s defense held firm, preventing any breakthroughs before the break.

In the second half, Sesa’s coach Charles Dias made crucial substitutions, bringing on Clencio Pinto for Velito Rocha and Sachidanand Satelkar in place of Sankalp Kankonkar. These changes added fresh energy to their attack, with Clencio causing problems on the wing and Sachidanand’s presence in the box injecting urgency into the home side’s play. Despite their best efforts, Sesa FA could not find the elusive goal.

Sporting Clube also had their chances but struggled to breach Sesa FA’s resolute defense. Joel Colaco was booked in the 67th minute, adding to Sporting’s disciplinary concerns.

Both sides continued to push for a winner, but the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
