St Francis Xavier High School, Siolim secured a remarkable feat, with all three of its handball teams emerging as North District champions.
The teams have earned their spots in the upcoming State Handball Inter-School Championship finals.
The school's under-14 girls team triumphed with a dominant 8-1 victory over Pradnya High School, Korgao.
Meanwhile, the under-14 boys secured an impressive 9-4 win against Mustifund Saunstha. In the under-17 boys category, SFX High School's team delivered a commanding performance, defeating Dayanand High School, Chorao, 20-7. The successful campaigns of these teams were made possible under the coaching guidance of physical education teachers Ravi Rajan and Frazer Fernandes, with support from the Goa Handball Academy.
