United Boys of Ambaulim Sports Club produced a dominating performance to outclass Sporting Club of Davorlim 5-0 and secure a spot in the quarterfinals of the Fr. Agnelo Youth Soccer tournament, organised by Fr. Agnelo Youth Sports Club, Paroda.
The match, played at Panchayat grounds, Avedem, Paroda, was a one-sided affair, with Ambaulim dictating the pace of the game from the outset. Visiton Fernandes opened the scoring in the 20th minute, and Ambaulim continued to pile on the pressure in the second half.
Airon Fernandes doubled the lead with a beautifully crafted goal, connecting a cross from his teammate. Teron Fernandes then capitalised on a defensive lapse by Davorlim to make it 3-0 in the 38th minute.
Despite a late surge by Davorlim, Ambaulim's defense held strong, and Airon Fernandes and Sowell Fernandes sealed the victory with two additional goals in the dying minutes, securing a resounding 5-0 win for Ambaulim.
