MARGAO: United Boys of Ambaulim secured a dominant 4-1 victory over Ugem Rising Club to advance to the next round of the Fr. Agnelo Youth Soccer Tournament, organised by Fr. Agnelo Youth Sports Club, Paroda, at Avedem Paroda ground, on Wednesday.
Ambaulim took the lead early in the fourth minute with a goal from Teron Fernandes. In the second half, Julies Carvalho added a second goal for Ambaulim in the fifth minute. Teron Fernandes struck again in the 26th minute to make it 3-0.
Just before the final whistle, Fernandes completed his hat-trick with Ambaulim's fourth goal. Ugem Rising Club managed to pull one back through Asiyo, but it was too little too late as Ambaulim sealed a comfortable win.
