MARGAO: United Club Verna delivered a dominant performance to overpower Mandopa Sporting Club with a 6-2 victory and secure their place in the quarterfinals of the 33rd Arlem Rolling Trophy. The tournament, organized by the Arlem Youth Association, is currently underway at the Raia Panchayat ground.
Jesloy Moniz was the star of the show for United Club Verna, netting an impressive hat-trick. Desmon Pereira contributed a brace, while Stephen Satarkar added one more goal to their tally.
Mandopa Sporting Club managed to score two consolation goals, with Velington Almeida and Aden Pereira each finding the back of the net.
