The second day of Sail Goa 2025, organized by the Goa Yachting Association at Dona Paula, brought welcome relief as steady winds finally set in around noon. With the breeze in their favor, windsurfers were quick to cast off for a full day of competitive racing across the Raceboard and Techno 293OD classes.
In the Olympic iQFOiL class, after Day 1's races were abandoned due to poor wind, the fleet was eager to hit the water. Four fast-paced Slalom-style races were completed, giving athletes a much-needed chance to shine. With India’s top six windsurfers currently competing in Olympic trials in France, Sail Goa has become a showcase for emerging young talent ready to make their mark internationally.
In the iQFOiL Men’s Category, Sachin Ganesh (TNSA) leads the fleet with two wins. S Maneesh Rajaa (AYN) holds second, narrowly ahead of Eabad Ali (AYN), with both tied on points.
