The Goa Belgaum Expo 2025 has been receiving an overwhelming response, with an array of traders and showroom owners from Belagavi exhibiting their consumer durables and consumable products at the exhibition.
Furniture, garments, fashion, home products, sweets, milk products, water tanks, and other items, for which customers from Goa travel all the way to Belagavi, are now available at this three-day Expo, organised by Prudent Media Network.
The Expo is turning out to be a great opportunity for Goans, who can now see and purchase products of their choice, all under one roof.
The stall owners are excited to visit their Goan customers in Goa for the first time and are graciously offering various products with special discounts.
“Certainly, this is something innovative, and it is really nice to see so many Goans coming under one roof,” Rishi Patil, a stall owner, said, expressing his pleasure at being part of the Expo.
Shri Ram Innovations, Shahapur, Belagavi
Shri Ram Innovations has a stall displaying interior and hardware products like SPC sheets, stone polymer composite, PVC planks, and PVC ceilings. Goan customers can visit this stall and book their requirements.
“We have launched Godrej digital locks and a digital platform where customers can view products and book their requirements online,” Sachin Hangirgekar said.
“This is a good opportunity to reach Goans in their own place,” he added, noting that there is a special offer for Goans visiting the stall.
Mehandi, Huns Talkies Road, Belagavi
Harsh Khoda of Mehandi, Huns Talkies Road, Belagavi, said they have displayed regular sarees, brocade sarees, silk, Kanjivaram, cotton silk, Kanchipuram, soft silk, wedding collections, bridal dresses, kurtis for regular wear, Paithani, and pure silk sarees.
“Apart from a special offer at the stall here, Goans visiting our Belagavi showroom will be offered a 10% discount,” Khoda said.
The stall at the Expo is displaying a large variety of sarees and dress materials, which Goans are shopping for in a big way. Mehandi has also sponsored sarees for the cooking competition and the Jara Hatke competition.
Shree Glass Decorative, Mahatma Phule Road, Belagavi
Shree Glass Decorative, with a showroom at Mahatma Phule Road, Belagavi, is offering interior decorative glass, toughened glass, laminated glass, coloured etched glass, mirrors, and plywood hardware.
“Once we are entrusted with house interiors or commercial interiors, we deliver the best results. We are also wholesale and retail traders of glass, plywood, veneers, and all types of interior services. We are offering up to 10% discount for those who book their orders at this exhibition,” proprietor Anand N Bastwadkar said.
Gokak Janata Kardant
The world-famous Gokak Janata Kardant has a stall at the Expo, which is doing brisk business with its sweets and other products.
“We are offering three special varieties: special Kardant, premium Kardant, and royal gold Kardant. The globally renowned Belgaum Kunda is also available at this stall,” partner Prashant Ankadavar said.
“We are offering a good discount on bulk purchases,” Ankadavar added.
Kalashree Solar and Bumbs, Udyambag, Belagavi
Prakash Dolekar of Kalashree Solar and Bumbs, who has a vast clientele in Goa, has recently launched the Kalashree four-in-one solar water heater (bumb), which has been introduced in India for the first time.
“It works on sunlight, electricity (heat pump), gas, and firewood. A heat pump that runs on electricity saves about 90% of the power bill. We offer discounts ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000, with free home delivery for those who book our products at this Expo. Electric geysers, purifiers, furniture, and atta chakkis are also available here,” Dolekar said.
BSC Textile Mall, Belagavi
BSC Textile Mall, also known as B S Chennabasappa & Sons, Shukrawar Peth, near First Railway Gate, Belagavi, is a popular brand for all types of garments and has reached numerous Goan homes.
The stall at the Expo is displaying a variety of bridal wear, groom wear, and home furnishings. Customers can visit the stall and book their requirements for weddings and other occasions. A special 2025 calendar is also being given to Goans visiting the stall.
“While we express our gratitude to Goans for their patronage, we also urge them to visit our showroom in Belagavi and bless us,” said Amjad Jamadar, manager of the mall.
Nandini Milk and Sweets
The Belgaum Milk Union, which supplies the famous Nandini brand of milk, sweets, and ice creams, is also catering to Goans.
“We have milk, pedha, Belgaum Kunda, Mysore pak, Dharwad pedha, kaju katli, and cookies to tantalise your taste buds. The globally famous Nandini fresh and chilled lassi and buttermilk, along with delicious Nandini ice creams, will also soothe you,” said Mallikarjun Swamy, Deputy General Manager of the Belgaum Milk Union.
“For dealership and parlours, interested Goans can visit the stall,” Swamy added.
Aptech Aviation Academy
Managing Director of Aptech Aviation Academy, Vinod Bamane, said the academy has trained several Goan youth in the fields of aviation and hospitality and has set up a stall to exhibit some of the courses offered.
“Parents and young boys and girls dreaming of making a career in the aviation and hospitality industry are encouraged to visit this stall and seek detailed information. We are established as the finest academy, and many Goans trained by us are now serving in national and international airlines and starred hotels across the globe,” Bamane said.
“Those who register during the Expo will be offered special discounts. Moreover, we also assist Goan students with accommodation and take special care of their safety and comfort,” he assured.
Classic Furnito Mall
Rishi Patil of Classic Furnito Mall said he has brought some of the rarest furniture products for Goans, offered at highly economical prices.
“We have been serving Goans for the last two decades, furnishing many homes in North and South Goa. With our stall right here, Goans can contact us for all their interior needs, with solutions like kitchen trolleys, beds, wardrobes, curtains, wallpapers, POP works, and total furnishings,” Patil said.
“We are offering special discounts on sofa sets, dining tables, wardrobes, and other orders placed at this Expo. Free delivery within Goa is also available,” he added.
Parmar Uniforms, Shahapur, Belagavi
Parmar Uniforms, with their showroom in Shahapur-Belagavi, manufactures all kinds of uniforms for corporates, industries, hotels, schools, and colleges.
“We supply uniforms to Pepsi, L&T, Honda, Maruti Suzuki, and many schools, colleges, corporates, and showrooms. We are looking for distributors/dealers in North and South Goa for our products,” said proprietor Mahendrakumar Parmar.
“We are also offering special discounts for those booking uniforms,” he added.
Kala Mandir Sarees, Samadevi Galli, Belagavi
The famous Kala Mandir Sarees from Samadevi Galli, Belagavi, has a stall offering a variety of sarees, including fancy georgette sarees, Banarasi, Kanjivaram, tissue, soft silk, Maheshwari, Garhwal, and Mysore silk sarees.
“We are offering the same rates as in Belagavi,” said proprietor Ankit Sancheti.
Other Stalls
The renowned Potdar Jewellers and the Association of Shahapur Jewellers also have stalls at the Expo. Details are available at the stalls. The world-class Mehta tanks from Belagavi also have a stall offering some of their finest products.
A special stall is offering Marathi-style mutton bhakari and other meat and chicken delicacies. “We offer homemade mutton and chicken prepared without artificial colours, MSG, or synthetic additives. Visit our stall to taste our products and experience authentic Maratha-style mutton and chicken delicacies,” said Sahul Karekar.
