The cast and crew of ‘Batto Ka Bulbula’, ‘Karken’, and ‘Jigarthanda Double X’ gathered on Sunday to discuss their creative processes, challenges, and future cinematic visions.
Director Nending Loder highlighted ‘Karken’ as a story of redemption and self-discovery, thanking the NFDC for supporting the film despite the challenges of filming in Arunachal Pradesh. He expressed hope that the film would inspire emerging filmmakers in the state. Cinematographer Nyago spoke about the unique challenge of filming with a single character in a confined space, pushing his limits as a cinematographer. Karthik Subbaraj, director of ‘Jigarthanda Double X’, emphasized the power of cinema to instigate societal change, stating it could even change the mindset of a gangster.
Saksham Yadav, editor of ‘Batto Ka Bulbula’, discussed the challenge of maintaining the film’s charm while managing lengthy shots. Aryan Singh, the director of photography, focused on capturing the essence of rural Haryana life in a raw, immersive manner.
