Thousand miles a walk on the beach
Once a beautiful sight to feel
A marvel, a real treat
Something different, rare to meet.
Soft sand beneath my feet
Warmth of the sun, waiting to beat
Early morning boats, waiting to reach
Was it a reality or a dream?
Dying a slow death our seashore
What’s left to experience and explore
Glass bottles, cattle, rodents and more
Some uncultured tourists, an eye sore.
Cleanliness drives, at what rate?
Wake up citizens before it is too late
To protect our seashore need to educate
For the future and for our sake.
