The Archdiocese of Goa and Daman celebrates Vocation Sunday on September 16. The seeds of our vocations are sown in our families. Families become cradle of our divine call. Vocation Sunday is a day set aside for all the members of the Church to reflect upon God’s calling in their life. For all are called to serve Christ in the world. Here are some vocation stories that may inspires us to say ‘yes’ to God’s calling.
There is a diversity and uniqueness in every vocation. As Jesus listened to the word, discerned the content of the mission entrusted to him by the Father, and proclaimed that he came to accomplish it “today”, those who are called need to go through this process. We pray to the Lord to give us more workers in His vineyard here in Goa.
